Introducing the Ultimate Leadership Camp, a Peak Potentials original.
Imagine putting a group of strangers in a room, nobody knows each other. Begin a course, and as they develop through the course they start to come together, and within 24 hours they know each other better than they know the people in their own company.
I always felt like I had leadership capacity, leadership ability, but before now I really never wanted to take that step.
What a lot of people, in my opinion, really don’t understand about leadership is, it’s mostly mental. Owning who they are, the right that they have to lead people.
I didn’t ever want any of the, you know, captain positions in any of my jobs, I didn’t ever want any of the lead positions or supervisory positions, whether they were there and available for me or not, because I just didn’t feel that I had enough capacity, knowledge, understanding to pull it off and do a good job at it.
This is one of our premier camps. It’s one that comes after Warrior and Wizard, so generally students have graduated from Enlightened Warrior training camp.
One of my shortcomings was, can I do better, how can I even work better with my family.
Leadership – it’s an amazing word. Every person has leadership inside of them; the ability to come out of your own character and step up to any challenge that arises.
Warrior and Wizard were amazing, but Ultimate Leadership camp is definitely my highest achievement.
Here are some tools – now get out and do it.
Stepping into my power and stepping up – doing it, doing it, doing it, instead of being in my head all the time.
And when we finally got into the groove, then we were able to be in harmony, and teamwork and harmony was able to get us across the line.
And we also delegate, find out who within our teams has the specific skillsets.
Raising your emotions brings your intelligence down, so if we can show you how to keep your emotions in check, your leadership skills will come through a lot clearer.
I’ve been through Warrior, Wizard, here I am at ULC and I’ve been able to apply everything that I’ve learned at Warrior and at Wizard, and turn it into a leadership capability.
So we’re gonna work them up, get their confidence going, so by the time we’re done, by the second or third day, we can toss anything at them. That’s what they’re in for.
I had a lot of rough edges. And I had a lot of buttons that were very easy to push, and when those buttons were pushed, I became an angry and abrasive person, and really pissed people off. Having had this course, and having had the feedback in some pretty harrowing environments that were purposely designed to put you in those stressful situations, I’ve gotten some incredible feedback that’s helped me develop ways to deal with these buttons, and make me aware of them, where in the future, these things happen again, I’m won’t go into that angry mode where I’m gonna be agitating and turning people off.
When you’re put into a situation where you have to accomplish a certain challenge, you discover where those emotions are and you can adjust, and through feedback with other students you can measure where you’re at, and then you start to correct it. And as the camp goes on, you start to do more and more challenges, and you get those emotions under control. Intelligence starts to go up, and you start to become an ultimate leader.
The greatest leaders are people that show up, as they are for who they are.
I learned how I show up as a leader. Yeah, and I show up full-on, every time, one hundred percent.
So, through adventure, through fun, we use them as tools to help people learn. And the tools that we give are so exciting that it engages the people, the participants, and they’re able to stay focused and at the end of the day, amazing learns come out of there.
What I learned is, I can be a much better leader than I thought. I can make decisions, and we have a system that helps us do that.
Warrior training camp gave me the power to step outside of my comfort zone. Leadership camp gave me the skills to be truly a leader.
The Ultimate Leadership system is forced into somebody. The practice, the constant drills, the constant challenges, it allows the Ultimate Leadership system the maximum potential.
We’re having an awesome time.

It’s a place to challenge yourself, to grow, to get feedback from your peers, and just really help you be the best leader that you can be.
Anybody can participate in it, it’s a camp where you don’t have to be at a high level, an executive.
Here, I have learned a lot about what it takes to be a leader. Not only through the training, where we’re teaching and we’re taking notes so we have it, but then we go and we use it. And we have to pull that out, those tools, out of your superhero toolbelt. Then you have to use those tools.
It’s really for anybody that wants to discover what their leadership qualities are.
Now, I can look and see, "Aha, I get it, I can do this. I can be a leader."
When you look at really successful leaders, they have great friends, they have great relationships, they have great purpose, and people want to be around them, they want to follow them, and that’s truly what makes a great leader.
They’re upward mobile. And that’s the kind of people I like to be around.
